HAPPY FRIDAY!!! It's EVRYONE'S best thing! (12/9 Edition)

A few items of note today:

1.  As previously mentioned, my next project, a 1950's short film, shoots tomorrow & Sunday - SO EXCITING!  I've been working my butt off on it (and therefore neglecting both this blog and my regular jobby-job a little bit) so for that reason, and because I just can't wait to see how it all came together, I'm glad it's finally here.

2.  TODAY IS BOYFRIEND'S BIRTHDAY!!  Even though this isn't an official IMBT Birthday Shoutout, I'm still dedicating today's post to him.  Love you Handsome!

Because I have to be up at the buttcrack of dawn tomorrow for the short, I will have to leave his drinks/celebration early tonight.  I did, however, bake him a chocolate chip cookie cake which I gave him at midnight last night along with his gift - a super snazzy Penguins (the hockey team) throwback hoodie and some adorable penguin salt & pepper shakers/wind-up toys (which he needed and were sort of from my Mom - long story).  Doesn't quite compare to Pismo Beach, but I still plan on taking him out for a special dinner/evening just the two of us after I finish the short and in between holiday madness.  Suggestions on where to go welcome in the comments!

3.  THIS.  You're welcome.

My fave:

Oh how I wish I was the human in this photo!

HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL!!

Getting Unnecessarily Nervous/Anxious/Overwhelmed: IMBT

THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW:

We start shooting the short film I'm producing in just over 60 hours.  The truth is we're very well prepped and things are coming along swimmingly.  The usual last-minute scramble is going on but it's, for the most part, over little things here and there.  I'm just SUPER AWESOME at letting anxiety get the best of me.

Going to hit up a Cardio Barre class tonight to expend some nervous energy!!

Sharing LSHWCMs With You: IMBT

Last night, while watching HIMYM ("How I Met Your Mother") with my roommates, we had a LSHWCM (laughing so hard we cried moment).  Not because the show was particularly funny - in fact it was actually a pretty emotional moment - but because I made a comment and Ted (Josh Radnor's character) seemed to reply back to me directly.  To help me explain here is a clip from the show:

At precisely 2:19 I exclaimed, "THAT IS AMAZING!"

And at precisely 2:21 Ted says, "Yes, it is."

We died.

On Sunday evening, while watching SNL ("Saturday Night Live") with my roommates (yes, we record it and watch it at a later time if we're not home for it Saturday night), I had another LSHWCM.  Most of my favorite recurring characters show up during Weekend Update - Stefon, Garth & Kat (who inspired another LSHWCM with my roommate and her sister attempting to improvise a song in unison once), etc. - so it's no surprise that I will now be adding Drunk Uncle to that list:

"You can't even say 'Merry Christmas' anymore!  You gotta say, 'Hey, Baby Jesus, you wanna do Pilates?"

I died.

Have you had any LSHWCMs this week?

Guilt: IMBT

Over the course of November I was contacted by so many people regarding their Movember campaigns (click here if you have no idea what that is) that I got completely overwhelmed and never actually donated to any of them.  Now I feel horrible.  I regularly support a handful of organizations both monetarily and by volunteering, yet I can't help but feel guilty that I can't help them all.  That is all I have to say today.  Cheerier post tomorrow, I promise!
